Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena and Laugh Factory Long Beach are both suburban LA comedy venues that have earned devoted local followings. Ice House at 24 North Mentor Ave is the more storied of the two — one of the oldest comedy clubs in the country, with an intimate room that performers love. Laugh Factory Long Beach benefits from the national Laugh Factory brand and booking network. Ice House offers the more unique, history-rich experience. Long Beach offers the more consistently programmed one. Both are excellent alternatives to the Hollywood club scene.
